What Is the Story About?
A bomb goes off inside a Starfleet building in London. One man planned it. His name is John Harrison. He is a former Starfleet agent and he has disappeared into Klingon space.
Admiral Marcus gives Kirk a direct order. Take the Enterprise. Hunt Harrison down. Finish him before he strikes again.
But nothing about this mission is straightforward. Harrison surrenders too easily. His explanations are too precise. And the weapons Starfleet gave Kirk to kill him were never meant for a manhunt.
The deeper Kirk digs the worse it gets. Harrison is hiding a secret that goes back 300 years. And Starfleet itself has blood on its hands. Kirk has to decide fast who the real enemy is before the whole thing explodes around him.
